Trouble accessing files in Extranet secure folder

Hi DW.

I have tried to set up a secure folder in Dynamicweb, to have files protected behind login.
I have used these ressources

However, as soon as a disable the “Anonymous Authentication” in IIS, every time I try to access the file, I just get the 401 error.

I can’t see what I’m missing. I have attached the settings I have made in screenshots here.

Hi Daniel

The entire purpose of the setup is to get a 401 from IIS when you try to access the file directly. You need to use DWSDownload file to access the file using DW permissions:

Thanks. I can see that this works. However we want to secure assets, like a video that should be shown in the browser, but we will find a workaround for that :)
