Can't add an index to the PIM

Hi there,

I tried out the new PIM in 9.3 but I can't seem to add an index. I have an existing product index (successfully used at the frontend to render products), but when I try to add a new query under My Queries or Shared Queries, the drop down for the index comes up empty. I also tried adding and building a new one but that didn't help either. Am I missing a step?

Also, there's a typo when you try to save the query anyway:

An index is required to create a query
Please select an index
If one is not available you need to create one in Setings - Repositorues

Setings and Repositorues are spelled wrong.

Thanks!

Imar

Oh, and of course minutes after posting, I discover - by sheer coincidence - the setting Settings | Ecommerce | Advanced configuration | Pim | Available index where you need to whitelist your indexes. That makes a lot of sense; it would be nice if the error message or UI could be updated to indicate you need an existing *and* whitelisted index.

Thanks,

Imar

Hi,

Yes, you got the right answer :)
We'll bug the typo and add more help about where to setup the index for PIM :)
We also have a pbi on UI in PIM settings.

Best regards,
Merethe
