Language versions of website - create new "slave" page

Hi

we have a costumer that uses language management, so that the master website is in Danish, and the slave is in Greenlandish. The settings are set up so that the slave copies the master, so when a page is created on master, it is also created in slave language version. However, they have deleted some of the slave pages, that they want to recreate. So my question is - Is it possible to create a new slave page to an already existing master page, an if so - how do I set the Management System up for this to be possible?

I am hoping for a solution something like what you can do in ecommerce, where you just select the language and press save to create a slave. Is this possible somehow?

Hi Hans

You are only able to delete pages on langauge versions if you allow this here: Control Panel -> Modules -> Langauge Management

Anyway you could copy the page from the master to the slave langauge as workaround

From manual: "This means that you are free to translate, add or delete any text or images within paragraphs, but that you are not allowed to create, copy, delete, move or sort either pages or paragraphs. The latter operations must be done on the master website, where they will be copied to all language versions. This will ensure that you maintain structural consistency between a master and its language versions."

If a page is missing from the slave, you can locate the page on the master, choose properties, go to the "Advanced" tab, choose the Languages button and restore the pages to the slave languages. See dump.
