Default Variant Option in different languages

Hi Guys,

In the project that I'm working we have 3 languages in Ecommerce( English (main language), French (Canada), English (Canada)). When I set the default group and the variant combination in the main language all the data come throw all the languages like I expect, but the default variant is always none.

I've recorded a screencast showing this: http://screencast.com/t/47xqPpVp.

We are using version 8.8.1.9.

Can someone help me?

That sure looks like a bug. I'll have it looked at by QA and get back with a bug number if reproduced.

Hi all,

I've reproduced the bug on our test environment, new TFS 25812 has been submitted to fix in nearest hotfix/release, thanks. Currently one workaround exists - delocalize product and localize again (when the option is already set in default language).
