Hi,

How do i enable delete order for completed orders in DW 9.9?

Hi Thomas,

It is no longer possible to delete completed orders - but you can use the order filters to exclude e.g. captured orders or orders with the Completed state from the list.

I... am not sure. Possibly for legal reasons.

You can delete incomplete and cancelled orders, but not completed orders.

That is just how it was made 10+ years ago. To avoid deleting needed order history.

It has been possible to delete completet orders up to DW 9.6 - But not in DW 9.9

In this case he wants to delete a test order, that shoud not be included in order history.

Why not make this a configuration option?

Nope. You could cancel an order. Cancel orders will put back the money (if possible), return product to stock and other funny stuff.

And yes - we could spend the day making you a delete button - or we could spend the day making features that would generate value for your customer so they can make money and live on in prosperity, retire early and enjoy Sangria under the sun smiley.

Okay in DW 9.7 it is possible to activate the Delete button on completed orders, but nothing happens when you click OK.

I did not test that, and assumed that it was deleted. 

So over and out from me :-)

And then again - I can see that the customer could delete (Setting OrderDeleted = 1 in the Ecomorders table) completed orders in his previous DW version (9.6)

So you have spent time removing this function? :-)
