Import on all PIM Products

Hi Forum

Am I (and our customer) the only one -  who is missing an import from excel on all PIM Products?

As for now it looks like you can only use the excel import on specific product folders, and this can be a tidious work to impport and find the products across folders if you have a general common update...

Hello Helene,

- I don't know the reason for the missing import feature from 'All PIM products' list, but even if you have exported all products from that list, it's possible to import from any product group below the 'PIM - Svendsen Sport'.

Hi guys,

I believe the reason for the missing "Import" option is that you would need to specify a group where the products would live. Hence the need to import the products in a Group instead of a generic "All Products".

As Michael mentioned, you can use the export file to import any number of products.

If you want a generic import, I would suggest (at least that's what I would do) to create a temporary product group in the PIM Warehouse and import products in that folder. Later on you can move products to their corresponding ProductGroups.

Another option would be to use DataIntegration for a generic product import.

I hope this helps.

Thank you,
Adrian
