Search query statistics not being tracked

Hello!

We have customer who would like to track search query statistics on their 9.13.6 solution. We've followed the documentation here: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/repositories/tools/search-statistics and have not yet seen data come through as expected. I've included screenshots below to confirm. Please advise on what's missing to collect search query statistics. Thank you!

Product catalog (ecom) app on the search results page has 'Track queries for statistics' enabled:

Frontend page:

Settings > Repository > Statistics shows no data

Settings > Web and HTTP > Tracking settings are set as advised in the documentation and related forum threads:

Hi Melissa

I think this is related to how Rapido works using feeds to create product lists and the headless implementation of the list.

The solution to this problem could be this:

On the page: "Peterson Cheese  > Goods  > Explore Our Catalog  > Products"

  1. Add a new row after the existing product list row.
  2. On that row, add the product catalog app again
  3. Choose the same query as on the existing products paragraphs
  4. Set up the query statitics on this new paragraph
    1. Do not add facet definition (for performance reasons)
    2. Set pagesize to 1
    3. Do not use feed templates (This change should trigger the statistics to be recorded)
    4. Create a product list template with no code in it. (To avoid rendering any products)

Then this paragraph should trigger the query stats.

Very tricky, I know...
