Hi

Anybody have idea what is the best way of auto publish the product group from the front end menu?

The scenario go like this,   there was a promotion product group  say call "Chinese New Year Essentials" where products related to this group will be attached to it.   The customer would like to have it auto publish on 15 Jan 2018 and unpublished on 15 Feb 2018.     Instead of manually edit group and change the setting “show in menu”?

That is not possible I am affraid... We do not support publishing periods on groups as it is now.
