Add flag icon to master English (World)

Hi,

Where do I add an icon for my master website with regional settings 'English (World)'? This has no flag by default. I want to show this in the backend, but also in the language switch on the frontend. I use Swift.

Kind regards,
Caro

Hi Caro

The flags belongs to countries and not languages as languages do not have flags.

'World' is not a country and does not have a flag. If you want the british flag, choose English (United Kingdom), if you want the US flag, choose English (United States).

For the frontend, which is your country selector, ensure that the right flag is present in /Files/FlagIcons/:

I.e. Dutch belgium is "nl-BE" and should have a flag accordingly in the list - probably just copy the flag you need and rename it.

Hi Nicolai,

Thanks for the update, but I get that. My question is rather how and in which template I can add a custom icon to still show it at 'World'? Or is this not possible?

For the frontend, you can add a flag in Flagicons list called "en-001.svg"
