List facet does not display groupings

It appears that the list facet functionality is showing all options instead of the option groupings (Fig. 1). In the example below (Fig. 1), the 'Size Group' list facet shows all Size variants (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL) instead of the expected groupings (Small, Medium, Large) in the facet display on the product list page. See solution here: https://cleanswift.mydwsite1.com/ (DW 9.15.9 / Swift 1.22.0) and screenshots of the facets (Fig. 1), query (Fig. 2), and index (Fig. 3) below.

Is there a step in the configuration that I'm missing, or is this a bug?

Hi,

We found out that this List facet groups is missing in DW Core in "Product catalog for view model", so we have created a Feature in order to get it implemented.
Feature 15297

Kind regards,
Merethe

Hi Merethe,

Is there an ETA available regarding when this will be available?

It is in progress currently. There is a missing feature in Dynamicweb related to the product catalog for viewmodels.

We expect to have a solution within the next 14 days.

Hello again!

Has this been resolved in a recent version release, or is it still pending a solution/fix?

Checking in on this again - has Feature 15297 been implemented in the newest release? I'm not seeing it in the 9.16 notes.

Hi Melissa,

It seems like it missed the release notes, but the fix should be out in latest 9.15 and 9.16.

Best regards,

Steffen

Hi Steffen,

I tested this again (same setup concept as above) in a solution running 9.16.3 and it still does not appear to be working as expected. Is there a step in the configuration I'm missing?

Hi Steffen,

A known issue is when a user configured more than 1 facet pointing to the same QueryParameter, it duplicates the facet options on both facets. I understand it's a bad setup, but would be nice for the UI to warn the user of it.

That said, and after fixing the bad setup, the facet just won't render. I can't find what might be wrong with the setup.

Hi Nuno and Melissa,

I have just been taking a look at the solution you linked to, and I've been looking at all the facet files, but I cannot see any list facets defined in any of them. Am I missing something?

Best regards,

Steffen

Hi Steffen,

The Pipeline triggered and reverted it. Here I've set it up again. Can you take another look please?

It should be visible here, but nothing shows up https://uat-hillsfurn.mydwsite1.com/bedroom/beds. If you use a Field or Term facet instead for the same field and querystring parameter, you get results

Any news regarding this? I did just try this in DW 9.17.2 and Swift 1.22 and was not able to make it work
