Manufacturer and CustomFieldTypes in ExportToExcel

Hi guys, I have a couple of questions related to the Export to Excel functionality from PIM.

The first one is related to Manufacturers. I have noticed that all Select fields are generated in Excel as a list of values while Manufacturer (although technically a Select field) is only included as a value (ManufacturerID). Is there any way I can control how it is rendered in EXCEL? Do I need to create a feature request for this?

Secondly, I have a couple of CustomFieldTypes, some of them are technically Lists and I want to handle them as Select fields in the generated Excel. Is there any way I can "teach" the excel generator how to handle these fields? Are there any extensibility/customization points for the Excel generator?

Thank you,

Adrian

Hi,

Displaying of ManufacturerID instead of option text seems to be valid bug, I've created task 8416 to fix it. All not system product custom fields type of list can be exported to excel with related option list and available to select(change) via appropriate control in excel output file. The feature is provided for structured format only by default. Nowadays I see some bug related to the feature - select list from first (top) field is replicated for other fields,  new task 8417 has been created to fix it as well.
