Publish items from another language layer

Hi,

I have website with a couple of langue layers.

On the front page we display a list of Items with Item Publisher.

For this Item Type the customer wants to display the Items from the master language on all languages.

I tried to se the Item Publisher on a language layer to select Items from the master language but it does not seem to work.

Is this by design?

Attaching the settings for Item Publisher on the German language layer. The "Events" page is on the English language layer (mater).

English startpage (Exhibitions & Events are displayed) :

Hi Aki,

I've resaved the paragraph has Item Publisher on the slave site and see list can be rendeder correctly (there was even no 'View all 'link there initially). I see one issue on your solution when source is specific page like in your screen, data from master site is output instead of one from current site (since selector allows to assign a page from current site only in fact), but I was not able to reproduce it on my environments based on last DW9.8.3, so try to update your admin if possible. Finally keep in your mind about language management options could be cause some misunderstanding (attachment).
