License check fails and restarts website

Hi, were running our application for about 2 years now and noticed that he website sometimes restarts out of the blue.
In the logs it seems that a license check fails/crashes and it restarts the website. We are running on 9.6.3 atm.

See the attachment for logs / db records.

The license check is only conducted when the application starts - and every 2 weeks maks.

The solution will restart based on your IIS settings. You might have auto pool recycles for memory, specific times, number of exceptions etc.

As you can see in this log, it seems like a SQL is getting a timeout - I can see from the call stack that this is due to a lot of records in statv2session table. Consider cleaning that table, optimize indexes or something similar.
