I have a question regarding the interface context for the new feature "URL Provider for items" to be released in version 8.4.
Why is this setting placed in the context of the definition of the individual item type? Why not incorporate it as an add-in in the standard URL-provider "Path and pagename /Path/.../pagename.aspx"?
IMO it would seem logical and easier that this new URL optimization for item types would be a standard add-in for this standard URL provider. I imagine that it would be possible to control the individual item types there as well?
The user friendly URLs are already controlled from the Management Center, so I would suggest to keep all the relevant settings in that regard in the Management Center.
Just my thoughts on the matter ;-)
