Swift 2.1 gives multiple errors on a clean install of DW 10.17.6

Hi.

I just did a clean install of DW 10.17.6, and pointed the app at the the latest swift (2.1) and compatible swift database (swift2.1.0-20250701-database.zip)

On accessing the frontend, I get the "No layout or template selected for website" error, and in the Layout settings for the site, I get multiple errors about things not existing, or in advanced, Page Properties Item Type for example, "Selected item type isnt allowed. Please check item resctriction".

I am not sure whats broken here :(

It sounds like you are not running on either the right database or the right /files.

Do you have a URL we can look at?

Hi Nicolai.

I have gotten a bit further. I double checked eveyrhing and I am using the right versions of database and swift files.

I have now managed to get the swift frontpage up, but its a bit crippled in terms of appearance. Seems to be lacking a lot of styling

Its looking for example for System/Styles/Buttons/Buttons.css but that doesnt exist.

Is there a bootstrap build step I am missing here?

Hei Nicolai. I downloaded the demo data now, and it appears that the missing the css files are in the demo data. I thought the demo data was just images and other assets, and that all css was part of the swift tree . I cant remember having to download the demodata package to get all styling previously
