Video thumbnail/preview not populating

Hello!

We are seeing an issue where the video asset thumbnail/preview is not populating on the product detail page; see screenshots below. Changing 'Open in modal' from 'Yes' to 'No' works to show the video preview, but it also negates the 'Image aspect ratio' setting which is quite an unpleasant viewing experience if you have the row as full-width.

Solution is on 9.14.1 / 1.14.1

This still appears to be an issue on Swift 1.19.0. See screencast here of a solution on DW 9.15.3 and Swift 1.19.0: https://www.screencast.com/t/atzWHn0jPKJ. The default 'missing image' appears to be merging with the video asset category in addition to the video thumbnail not populating. I also set all asset categories to 'None' outside of this video and that did not resolve this issue either. Any ideas?

Hi,
I talked to our developer. Some videos on youtube doesn't contain a thumbnail image and that's why it doesn't appear in Swift frontend for some videoes.

But it has a fall back to first frame when Open in modal = No, so we need to implement this fallback to when Modal = yes.
I have bugged this in #12687.

BR,
Merethe
