Upgrade instructions for Swift

Hi guys,

We have some issues with older Swift versions (1.10 or less).

We have the need to upgrade at least for the GA4 functionality but in general, we need a solid approach to upgrading Swift from one version to the other considering that upgrading means ItemTypes, Templates, Javascript and CSS files, and sometimes even new pages.

I remember that Rapido also had an "Upgrade" package. Could there be something similar for Swift? Or maybe a different approach that I have not found?

We need the same thing - if we just download a new swift version we get files that should not be part of an update:

  • Remove Translations.xml files
  • Remove Globalsettings.aspx
  • Remove custom.css

And probably other stuff we haven't run into yet :)
