Rescaling of Poster Photo on Homepage?

Hello,

On the website http://melgers.cloud.dynamicweb-cms.com/ I changed the hero image yesterday (22-3), after the change the image looked good. When i opened the site this morning (23-3) the picture looks unsharp and of very low quality. I am 100% certain that no user has been in the system. This is the second time I see this behaviour so I am wondering if there is some automatic resizing/scaling event going on in the background that I am unaware of. 

Mysterious stuff, any ideas? :-)

Hi Justin

The auto resizing of images is activated on your images folder - and that is causing the issue:

 

 

Because of that, the original file in the filemanager will be resized to 500 px max width, causing the image you see on your poster to be this:

Just stretched out - causing the unsharp image
