Quote cart for specific Product Group

Hello,

We have a customer that wants to have customers to be able to request a quote for a specific product group.

Other products in other groups should just be ordered through the normal order checkout flow.

I know we have a quote cart in Swift, but can I configure it just to be available for 1 group? or will it be available for all groups by default?

It will be available for all groups.

So probably you need to add a custom field on the group, i.e. "Quote only" and then do some magic in templates and checkout flow to hit the right cart in the right scenario.
