Publications - Styling and functionality

Hi team,

I’ve been experimenting with Publications and have a few questions:

  1. Styling / CSS

Is it possible to apply custom CSS to Publications? For example, if I want to adjust the layout or styling of specific elements, can this be achieved somehow?

  2. Clickable Images

Can we make images in Publications clickable? For example, when displaying a product with a manual, clicking on the manual icon should open a link (e.g. to a PDF or yt link).

  3. PDF Uploads

I noticed that image assets work fine in Publications, but when I try to upload a PDF with the product gallery component, it doesn’t display as expected. Is there a way to make this possible?

Hopefully, you can clarify how these points can be achieved.

Kind regards,

Ferri

Hi Ferri

1) There is no built in way to customize css. Just edit the master template or whatever layout template you want to edit.

2) Not out of the box. But you can edit the templates to add links to images if you want.

3) PDFs are not supported in publications. You can change the template to support PDFs if that makes sense to have pdfs in pdfs....
