Not possible to move a row

Hi 

How come it is only possible to copy a row and it's columns, but not move it?

And how come it's possible to right click and copy, but not available in the tools menu when you check a row/column?

If you somewhere on your website has chosen to link to a specific row/column, then the link will be broken if you can't move the row/column, but have to copy it and delete the old one.

Hi Tina

We never implemented move row (to another page) as there are a number of potential issues we need to handle related to permissions, item inheritance, item restrictions, language management and so on that would make the feature 'buggy' without a lot of coding. So for now we have chosen not to support it.

You can of course move it around on the same page using drag and drop in visual editor mode.

If you want to move around with columns, you can do it within the same page in visual editor mode.

Columns cannot be copied in the list because it needs a place in a row to be put into. So all of these things happen in visual editor where you can create the new row and then move the column to the new location.

If you need to reuse content, rows and columns can be saved as templates and be used when you create new content.
