Add documents on groups

Is it possible to add documents to PIM groups, and setup inheritance downwards in the hierarchy?

Lets say you have this structure:

  • Main group 1
    • Sub group 1.1
      • Sub group 1.1.1
        • Product 1
        • Product 2

Many times we have documents that are the same for all products in a group. So instead of adding the same document to product 1 and 2, it could have been added to sub group 1.1.1 or even 1.1 or 1.

The only way you can do that is by adding file fields to a product category and let them inherit down the pipeline.

Assets also supports inheritance, but only on product/variant/language: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/pim/enrichment/assets-images#8365
