XML Provider has Export Product Field definitions on Destination

Hi there,

When you pick, say, a User Provider as the source and then an XML provider as the destination, the following field shows up:

[] Export Product Field definitions

Should that field be there? It's a bit confusing as there are no products or product fields in play. The other destinations don't seem to have it.

Hi Imar,

Indeed, that only makes sense when using either the DynamicwebProvider or the EcomProvider - however, the way that configureableAddins are implemented makes it difficult to change the UI based on settings outside the current provider.

(In general, this is the reason/excuse we have for a lot of the less than perfect UI choices on the Provider settings in Data Integration).

I am hoping that some of the GUI changes we are planning for an upcomming version of DW will allow us to do a cleanup of these settings, but I don't know for sure, yet.
