On premise AD integration

Dear Dynamicweb,

 

One of our clients are requesting integration to their on premise Active Directory, but before doing that, I would like to know if you think that the old module still is supported (plugin)?

Hi Anders

I would not go down that path. It is deprecated in so many ways - i think the newest windows servers will not support the way we query the AD. The code might still work, but I am not sure you or the customer will be happy down that path.

I would go for using a Azure AD which is relatively easy to integrate with - both to DW and to the AD.
