OData $expand

Is it possible to use $expand in an "Data Integration" job using "Endpoint Provider" as source?

Tried it now, and we do get the expanded object when testing, but it does not appear in the field list as source column when mapping.
Obviously that is because it is a object. But are there examples of how to access the data in an expanded field through "Data Integration"?

Hi Martin,

No, we've only had the focused on "first level object".

And had the next focus on splitting the OData Provider into 3 providers (BC, FO and CRM), with the functionality of GET, POST and PATCH on each of the ERPs.

I'll pass this on to my PM, so we can get this into our pipeline :)

I know it's easier to handle nested data that way, but is it possible for you to use one of the new once, although they don't have the $expand functionality either, but they do have more control of the table-mappings with conditionals, key-columns and so on?

Thanks Matthias! We will look into the new and improved providers, maybe there is something there we could use.

But being able to use $expand in one way or another would be powerful stuff, so please make a note of it :)

Hi Martin,

Sure thing, talked with my PM yesterday, and came to the conclusion that it is something that we will implement, but our current setup in mappings cannot support/show this kind of nested mappings correct, so we need to invent/implement it in a way so it make sense too (on the UI) :)
