ICECAT integration links issue

Hi DW

We have solution with ICECAT integration and we faced problem, that .pdf links from ProductMultimediaObject Node saves in EcomDetails like links,

but not a path to file and file not downloads. So customer can't open this links, because of permissions to ICECAT.(possible only with allow IP address in ICECAT account)

working with https://objects.icecat.biz

https://objects.icecat.biz/objects/mmo_79162141_1588140682_6054_31227.pdf

not working https://inishop.com/objects

example in Nodes and https://inishop.com/objects/mmo_93836986_1631783537_9867_11847.pdf

Hi Andrejs,

Can you send me the Icecat ID's on the Products, you are trying to fetch data from ..

Hi Søren

It is almost every product which is not available for public use. (starts with https://objects.icecat.biz)

Try to open any PDF link which starts with https://inishop.com/objects

But not from IP which is in whitelist in ICECAT

Hi Andrejs,

Just want to be sure, I understand the above situation correct  ..

You get link of these PDF documents, assigned to your products in PIM .. correct ?

But when using "LINK" from the product there after, you are then not allowed to download the PDF document ... correct ?

AND if you use the LINK direct in your Browser, there are in the "IP whitelist range", then the download of PDF document are working .. correct ?

Yes I got pdf link assigned to product, but when I try to open link =>  page Not found if not in whitelist 

If IP in whitelist, then all working good.

Just a quick question .. 

Are you allowed to open/play Video's, there come from Icecat and assigned to Product ?

Hi Andrejs,

I think your challenge will be solved with a new function, there get implemented in comming Icecat provider (planned to ultimo Januar 2022)

With that new implementation, you can download PDF documents, there have Icecat MultiMedia-type "application/PDF". 

Then clients do not ran into the specified limitations on Icecat.
