Export product data from specific Channel

Hi guys,

I have a situation where I have to export product data (prices, stock, images, product fields, and product category fields) only for a specific Channel, for the purpose of reimporting the data in another DW solution.

Is there a built-in method for exporting channel-specific data?

I would like to use EcomProvider if possible.

Hello Adrian,

- I haven't seen a out-of-box solution, where you can export channel-specific data as a Integration Framework XML, whice could imported by another DW solution, but it could certainly be a nice feature.

If you can't wait for an built-in solution, I would build a PIM feed with a XSLT transformation on the standard 'XML feed provider' to get the format as a Integration Framework XML.

Hi Michael,

Thank you for the suggestion.

I have considered using a feed but I am not sure if I can get all needed data just from the feed.

And it will take a lot of time to rebuild the entire EcomProvider structure with XSLT.

But it may be the only option for now without extensive customization (like a custom DataIntegration provider).

It would be nice though to have a built in solution for exporting Channel data.
