DW10 live integration general question

Hi,
I am trying to research how DW10 liveintegration works in regards to prices and the new BC pricestructure and json.
Are you retriving prices based on the same approach as before, where you had your own logic that determines the price returned. And then we have to add extensibility points if their logic is custom.
Or are you calling the BC way, and making a fake order to get the correct price - no matter what - returned?

I hope my question made sense:S

Hi Jan,

Live Integration in DW10, uses the same SOAP endpoint and Code Units as DW9. https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/integration/integration-framework/live-integration

It supports BCs New Price Experience and uses XML just like DW9 - so expect no changes on DW10.

The new Live Integration using OData and new Code Units has not been released yet, but will hopefully be out sometime in the fall and will only be avaiable for DW10.

Hi Rasmus,
In regards to "The new Live Integration using OData and new Code Units" - if a customer adds custom logic to their pricing structure - will it be as it is today, that we need to extend BC DW pluginunit to fit that?

Hi Jan,

I can't answer that question yet as the final decision on design of the Code Unit logic is not done.
