Deployment of products and product groups

Hi, 

The deployment tool doesn't transfer the data of products and products between staging and production sites. As said in the documentation "To move data (e.g. orders, products, and product groups) from one solution to another, you must use the Integration Framework". Therefore an integration task must be created with all the corresponding tables and fields.

The problem appears when a new field is added in the staging site (for instance, a new category field for products). You must remember to manually add this field in the task, and this is quite prone to errors.

Is there a better way to do it? By integration or by other means, a method to automatically transfer all the data.

Setup changes are done using deployment - and that is i.e. new fields.

Product data should be done with integration.

There is no easier way to do it - you have to ensure your configuratioin is deployed before the data.

Technically you can deploy products and other ecommerce data - but it is not made for the large amounts of data you can have in Ecommerce. I.e. 10.000+ products will be a problem. But if you have few products, it might be possible.
