Variants, languages and stock

Hi there

Currently you have to activate each of your variants on each language if you want them shown on the site. However I think it should only be nessesary to active the variant, if you want them to differ from the variants on the main language. As an example:

I create a product in danish. It's a shirt and it comes in 3 sizes; L, M and S. I manage the product name, description and price, on the main product and the stock count on each variant.

I now activate this product in english, and translate the name and the description and convert the price. This is what I have chosen should be editable in the Management Center. The rest (stock) should therefore follow the main language variant stock levels, without having to activate the variant. As a result I expect the product and its variants to show up on my english site, as well as on my danish one. But at this time it does not, because the variants on the english product has not been activated.

It does'nt really make sense to me why this is not standard behavior, but I am told that this is not a bug and therefore a feature request :-)

Hi Rune

If you translate the variant groups and options, it should work.
