It becomes quite common to implement a new design for a client and even other websites within the same solution. After a while, even if the file naming is organized, it becomes quite stressfull. The Designs & Layouts approach solves this very easily for page, paragraph's and navigation templates.
What if the select box for the templates could also load the subfolders and place them into optgroups? This way we could easilly organize template files in the module's template folder and select them in the paragraph settings.
EXAMPLE:
news list: the root template folder is NewsV2/List
new organization:
- NewsV2/List (standard templates)
- NewsV2/List/WebsiteA
- NewsV2/List/WebsiteB
- NewsV2/List/WebsiteC
In the paragraph Settings we could have this select box
