Sending e-mails to customer when Orderstate changes

 Hi,

 

I know it's possible to write an Extender and use a Notification subscriber to determine orderstate changes and send out an e-mail to the customer.

 

But it would be much nicer if this would become standard functionality and that no custom programming is needed.

I also agree!

It would also be great if it was possible to add a comment for the customer to see.

Hope this soon will be included!

Great ideas.

It is actually part of the roadmap for next version, so it is coming up. In management center, order states, a possibility of setting up a mail notification with a template will be available. That notification will be the same data as a order confirmation mail.

Comments can be written on the order and sent along.

Release is scheduled late October/start November (+ delays :))
