Prioritized feature request list for Dynamicweb e-Commerce

Reply

We invited some of our solution partners to a product development seminar just before Easter. There were two seminars: one in Aarhus and one in Copenhagen.

The agenda for these seminars was the future development of Dynamicweb e-Commerce, and each participant was told to prepare a list of improvements before the meeting. All these improvements were then gathered, prioritized, and finally stored in our issue management tool, so that we can keep track of them.

Nineteen people participated in these seminars and we received many suggestions for improvement. We are very thankful for this and I promise that these suggestions will be among the first things, we will look into.

You can also view the prioritized list here: http://developer.dynamicweb.dk/e-Commerce-prioritized-feature-list-27365.aspx. The list is generated directly from our issue management tool and therefore the list is constantly updated to reflect the latest changes. Our developers will pick the features at the top and then work their way down the list.

I would like to invite all people who did not participate in the above-mentioned product development seminars to read this list, and provide me with your opinion. Maybe we forgot some important feature or maybe there is a feature that you feel needs more priority?

Additionally, I would also like to discuss the feature mentioned in DWEB-824 (e-Com backend hooks/extenders). I would especially like to hear your opinion on how we should implement this.

I propose to make Dynamicweb e-Commerce a multi merchant system within one shop.

It requires to notify each merchant separately, maybe use different email templates; reports for each merchant and so on.

Just stumbled upon this old thread.

Salman, I wrote an article about how to implement drop-shipping in Dynamicweb, which have a slight resemblance to what you are describing. Check it out here:
