Possibility to set up deployment with deployment tool as scheduled task

It would be nice to be able to set up scheduled deployments with the deployment tool (maybe as an Add-in on a Scheduled task) - we have a customer requesting this feature.

To consume or create the deployment package?

You can create a deployment package to file with 9.9 and then have a scheduler on the upstream environment that will import the deployment package: https://doc.dynamicweb.com/documentation-9/platform/platform-tools/deployment-tool#10219
