Hi,

 

The auto-numbering feature has been available for quite some time, but nowhere to actually assing a new auto-numbering setting. Would be nice if we could assign it to a shop.

 

Also, would be great if the system generated an order code (random unique alphanumeric code). This would allow users to view an order with that code + e-mail (for example) without having to login, or have the customer area module to simply check an order.

Did this feature request ever get evaluated? I would still see this as a nice to have feature.

You can edit auto numbering in th MC, see dump 1.

The order receipt has a link so you can view the order without logging in and without

?ID=123&CompletedOrderId=ORDER234&CompletedOrderSecret=secretCode

You can find the secretCode on Order.Secret() and it is also available as a template tag in the receipt mail.

Hi Nicolai,

 

Got it. I don't know why, but I did not see the order Secret that way. Gonna go home and take some magnesium to boost my memory cheeky
