ItemPublisher - Skip X items with paging

Hi,

I have to pages with an ItemPublisher module attached. The first page shows only the first 14 items. The second page (an arhice page) needs to start from the 15th item, contain 14 items pr. page and have paging. This was possible with the old news module, but not possible with the ItemPublisher yet.

I can set the pagesize to 14, but not specify where to start (how many items to skip). If I choose "Delvis" then I can specify start item and end item - but I do not need the end item, because i want 14 items pr. page - and just have as many pages as required for all the items to be shown.

Hi Rene

The "Delvis" (partial) option is the one to use. Just set end to 1000 or something like that. The item publisher now has the same possibilities as the news module had. It is part of the 8.4 release: http://developer.dynamicweb-cms.com/releases/dynamicweb-8-4.aspx#13304

Hi Nicolai,

I don't want to show a 1000 pr. page. I only want to show 14 pr. page - and start with no 15. If i set 1000 as end, will I have paging? I'm on DW 8.4.1.5

Pagesize and the start and end item number is 2 different things. So yes, you would have paging.

Just go ahead and try it on your solution.

Okay, I'll try it out. But the pagesize field disappears when I choose "delvis", so it's not really obvious to me as a user that the field is still in use.

Hm, good point.

Will have someone look into it.

Hi Nicolai,

I have no paging when doing what you suggest. I have specified a "sidestørrelse" and then changed to "delvis" with "Item fra" set to 15 and "Item til" set to 100.000 (see the attached image). This makes the paging disappear - all items are shown on one page.

I see.

That has been overlooked in the testing phase. I've passed this to QA and we will get it fixed for a later release.

Thank you. With this little issue fixed I think the items can fully replace the news module ;-)

I'll try to find a workaround untill it's fixed.
