Hi

I want Items list items inside Item Lists.

I have found a way to cheat DW into allowing this. Both backend and frontend handles it without issue when editing and displaying.

Can you please allow the option in backend so I don't have to cheat?

Is there any technical reason why this is not allowed?

Well, except it could cause some cirkular references and it is hard to understand for editors, there are no technical reasons why it has been disabled.

As you have discovered, it can be bypassed. You could also use items as field (8.6 feature).

We will look into removing it - maybe...

+1 on this - I would argue that when this is needed, you atm end up having to make solutions that are harder for the editors to understand than a list in a list.
