Include Product Category fields in Search Weighted App for searching Product Catalog

Hi

Would be great if we could include the Product Category fields in the Search Weighted App for searching the Product Catalog. We use the product category fields alot as we are running mutliple websites in a single dynamic website with substantially different product fields and as such we cant use the generic product fields.

Hi Steve

Thank you for the request. That is why we have the repositories and index - it can index everything, is configurable and is the way to go for product search. There is also a content indexer.

Hi Nicolai

I can see how a single search free text search over both Products and Content is implemented in Rapido with the search making two seperate ajax requests to the get the search results for products and content, and then providing links to the results for each seperate result set via "View All".

However we would like to include the results in one paged list similar to the Weighted Search app. Is this possible at all?
