Hi,

 

It would be great if the EcomProvider would have settings for Versioning.

 

The concept is that if an import runs to update products (from the Data Integration job), and Versioning is enabled, we can see the entire update history. This would enable integrated solutions to do compares and rollbacks to a specific version.

 

(I haven't tested, but I would guess with Import from Excel would be benefitial too, but I am mostly focused in Data Integration for now)

Hi Nuno

That would become a complete nightmare of data in the version table... But feel free to import to the versions table.

Hi Nicolai,

 

I realize the risk potential and we will have to have some maintenance to that table, by maybe keeping only the last 3 or 4 records per product OR even up until a certain datetime.

 

Would Audit solve for that too? I guess the main objective is for accountability and knowing what changed and when (even coming from a Data Integration job).
