E-mail placeholder tag for Sender name

Hi,

We would love to have an E-mail placeholder tag for the Sender Name of an E-mail.
We expect we can increase the opening rate if we can mention (for example) the name of an account manager instead of (for example) a company name.

Can we make it possible?

Best regards
Gerard

Hi Nicolai,

In your link you tell us it is available in:

  • Email bodies (on pages) - including in links, for example <a href="/UserInfo.aspx?UserName={{Email:User.UserName}}">Click here to see your profile</a>
  • Subject fields (when creating emails)
  • Tracking provider fields

But we also would like to have it available in Sender Name. Our customer Pentair sends (B2B) E-mails to their clients, but instead sender name Pentair we would like to make the account manager (which is a custom field) sender of the mail. Therefor we need to add the placeholder to the field Sender Name. Are you sure that's possible?

Best regards
Gerard

Ah, now I understand.

I thought you wanted the sendername as a variable...

But in the emails sender name you want to be able to use what tags...? A field from the user record. Not sure I understand...

Hi Nicolai,

I made some screenshots to make it clear.
We would like to fill the field 'From: name' with the name of the Accountmanager, but this is only Pentair example.
We think if we can personalize this field we can have a huge increase of opening ratio.

Would be great if this is already possible.

Best regards
Gerard

ok, got it.

Sounds like a good way to increase conversions.

I've added it as a feature request - but have not planned it.

Thanks, Nicolai
