DTAP visualization

We are looking for a way to give more visual distinction between the DTAP (development, test, acceptation, production) fases of the dynamicweb backends.

Unfortunately it happens that people are accidentally working in the wrong backend which is kind of frustrating.

I suppose for example being able to colorize the top bar (with the version in it) would be efficient enough.

It would be great if it was possible to display an infobar (existing dw control) with a simple text and maybe have the option to display as either info, warning or error (blue, yellow, red).

However, you are able to hack something similar by entering HTML in the solution title (see attached screen shot) ... yes, this is very bad, but it works :-)

Hmmm, I think I will implement your 'hack' in my current project, but a better integrated way is still preferred.
And the colors blue, yellow and red for layout... meeeeh .... You must be a programmer ;-)
It's also a color short for my DTAP.

Thank you for your feedback and hack option.

+1 for the original request and +2 for the lovely hacky workaround ;-)

Peter, I am a programmer, but I think you misunderstood me  :)

I wasn't suggesting a change in layout color - it's only the color of the icons in an infobar ;-)

The reason I suggested this was that the infobar already exists in DW (see attached example from docs), so it should be easy to add one that we can use for a global message in the administration.
