It would be awesome to have a dependency walker to help discover all of the layout pages, paragraph templates, includes, master pages, module templates, content on a page, and even a list of item types, ecom objects, and other objects used on the page.
Now that there is an ‘edit’ button beside all template choices, this would be the place to launch it, but take this further by being able to point to a page and have a treeview of all resources used for that page.
A good starting point would be on the page to click “Dependency Tree” and have a tree of the whole hierarchy, with an edit button beside each item.
I spend quite a bit of time jumping between files and includes. And when I jump into someone else’s project it’s quite difficult at first to find how it's set up. Even after you figure out how everything is set up it still requires a lot of jumping back and forth.
So my request/suggestions is to have a dependency walker in a treeview format that can be easily opened on a page. Version 1.0 wouldn't need to include every single object. It could start with just content based items (page layout, paragraph template, includes, master pages), but over time it could include every possible item or object used by a page.
