Admin: Access to "Users" for backend-users

Hi there

I would like to propose a feature that makes it optional to access the "Users"-pane in the administration, for Users with Backend-access.

Right now the pane and its content is only available to our "Administrator"-user.

Could you please look into this?

Hi Mikkel

I actually think you can control the permissions already. Do you by any chance have an upgraded solution? Then it might have permissions from DW8.

You can check it by logging into the administration and access this URL: /Admin/Module/ModulePermissionEdit.aspx?ModuleSystemName=Users

Then change permissions accordingly.

Dynamicweb 9.4 have a big project on sanitizing permissions in general - so you have a much more granulated and easy model for assigning rights.

It seems to work. Is there a button somewhere or only this "hidden" feature?

Looking forward to new permission management.

Hi Per

This is hidden - there is no UI anymore for rightclicking the users module! You might add it as a module in the module table.
