Activating and deactivating Item Fields

Hi

It would be a really nice feature, if it was possible to deactivate item fields. As it is now, the only posibility is to delete an item field, if I am not mistaking?

Would be really useful in several situations, if it was possible to deactivate item fields without deleting them.

Without deleting them, just making them "invisible" in the UI. We could potentially still use them in the templates/API, so active/inactive status would just be a flag on the field.
