The 960 grid system is really powerful. It would be great if all templates would be written to this system.
Take a look ar the at screenshots i took from a Drupal testsite which works with the 960 grid system combined with a theme called Mix & Match. I think this could decrease development time for templates and sites. Especcialy basic sites. Developers and designers can add a custom stylesheet for their individual needs and there are few restrictions what you can accomplish.
Module templates will be able to be build more flexible cause there is a standardised template.
We would be really interested in a development like this.

Hi Matthijs
I know 960 and it is a very powerful CSS system. Building a specific system into Dynamicweb as the "Default" is not likely to happen, because this is one of those things where different implementers have very different preferences.
But having a set of default templates optimized for 960 could be very cool, and I will take that into consideration.

Hi,
May I suggest that people put some efford into creating layouts based on 960 and other css frameworks (like for instance Blueprint) and then share them here or on say www.dwfeatures.com. We are seeing far too little sharing of resources on the Dynamicweb platform, which is a bad thing for Dynamicweb.
I will gladly create an area for shared templates and other resources on www.dwfeatures.com.

Ps.: Thanks to my collegue Morten Bengtson for pointing out the error in my post :-)
