What's the repository task handler?

I've been blinded by fimiliarity. There is a scheduled task that is on every project (or at least as far as I know) and I haven't looked into what it's there for, but now I'm curious. That's the "Repository task handler" which is a method task that calls "RunTasks". I didn't confirm if this is ours or if it comes from the default empty data.

What's the purpose of that scheduled task?

Thanks,

Scott

It is Dynamicwebs and it handles the indexing in the new repositories.

That helps! What type of information does it handle? The actual rebuilding of indexes is something that we do through other methods, so I assume that this takes care of some housekeeping items.

In the repository you can create tasks. This taskhandler will execute those task if any exist.
