Hi

Is there a way to get a virtual product (an e-book) to the customer as soon as the order is confirmed? So the system will send the customer a mail with a link as soon as the order is placed?

The order does show a receipt page and sends out a receipt email, and that could include a link to the ebook.

So yes. 

Do you have some more specific requirements?

Thanks for the answer. No I don't have more specific requirements. I guess the same method could be used for bying a seat at a live workshop.

It could.

But you may need some logic to give the user a 'personal' link to the ebook if it uses some digital rights.

Selling seats in a workshop would be the same thing. A product with a limited 'stock' available that will be sold out...
