Validation of User custom fields

Hi,

I added some custom fields for the users at Settings > Control panel > Users > Custom fields. As far as good :-)

The issue is that I need to validate those fields at the checkout, but those fields are not selectable as Validation fields in Settings > Ecom > Orders > Validation groups (see image below) Only Order fields and Orderline fields are selecteble.

What is best procesdure to validate User custom fields?

The validation rules are for order fields - you added user fields, so those 2 things is not the same.

User fields are not part of the checkout - only customer fields which can be a cipy of the user, if one is logged in, otherwise it can be any value.

So you probably need to create custom order fields instead?
