Using giftcards + shipping costs

Hi,

I was wondering if it's possible to pay the shipping costs with a gift card. We have a solution where a customer is using a giftcard in the cart. The giftcard value is properly deducted from the price, however the customer always ends up with the shipping costs.

Am I missing something? I'm fairly new to DW so it could very well be that I'm missing a setting somewhere, however I can't seem to find it in the docs.

Just want to add that we're using a custom shippingprovider that returns a price based on weight combined with extra information to determine the price. Using the default shipping provider does not change the behaviour though.

Yes it is possible to use a Gift Card to pay for the shipping costs.

From you screenshot it looks like that you are using a Voucher (Discount) and not a Gift Card.
