Smart search feature in DW9

Hi, in DW8 you could select products with at predefined search and then move or copy selected products, how do I do that in DW9

In manny cases we import products from ERP, Perfion and inRiver and then the ecommerce manager place the products in the Dynamicweb ecommerce groups. This is similar to the way it works between Perfion and the ERP. You import products and you do something with them including deleting and moving around.

Example could be "select all products not in group" and "product number starts with 10011" Then the editor kan move the products to the ecommerce group by selecting all and move to group.

Hi Kim,

The ecommerce SmartSearch concept doesn't exist on DW9, because it was build to work on the old index, which was discontinued in DW9 and was not replaced with anything until DW9.2

In 9.2 we introduced Product Content Management (PCM) , where it is possible to create queries like in repositories, and then you can see all products, which matches the search criteria. We are still working on the PCM/PIM area, and in the version we have in our development branch it is possible to do what you describe, and it will be released together with DW9.3.0

So to sum up, it is not possible to do that in the standard DW9, but there will be something available in DW9.3, but it will in a seperate module.
